| About Registraion, Advanced Program, Transportation and Hotel |

The Advanced Program will be postponed to Nov. 10, 2005 due to the decision of oral or poster presentation will be made based on the pre-registration situation, whose deadline is Oct. 31, 2005.
Because of the technique reason for Credit Card payment system, the on-line registration form including the Hotel reservation and pre-payment will be available in the next week.

| IEEE PDF eXpress™ for APMC 2005 Available |

IEEE PDF eXpress is a free service to IEEE conferences, allowing their authors to make IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs (Conversion function) or to check PDFs that authors have made themselves for IEEE Xplore compatibility (PDF Check function).
APMC 2005 Authors need to visit IEEE PDF eXpress first, and then submit their final PDFs to APMC 2005. |

| IEEE Copyright Form Status Can be Checked Online |

Now the IEEE Copyright Form receiving status by APMC2005 can be checked when authors login at the online paper submission portal.
Be notable there may be one to three days delay between your fax sending and getting confirmation on our site.

| Formal Acceptance Notification Released |

| The formal letters concerning paper acceptance decisions have been sent via e-mail to the authors of all submitted papers. Those who have problem in receiving the letters please contact APMC'2005 secretariat. |

| Acceptance Notification Postponed |

TPC of APMC2005 has postponded the Acceptance Notification Deadline from August 31 to September 15 as more than expected number of papers have being submitted to APMC2005 and some of these papers are still in review process.
Acceptance letters will be sent out via E-mail by Sep. 15. Authors can also check the processing status of your papers at the online paper submission page.

Guidelines Available for E-mail Submission to IEEE T-MTT Mini-Special Issue

The IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques (T-MTT), will publish a Mini-Special Issue devoted to the conference with substantially extended papers based on papers presented at APMC-2005.

| The TPC of APMC2005 has received the LETTER OF ACQUISITION from IEEE and 2005 Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference Proceedings is included in the IEEE Conference Publication Program. APMC2005 has updated the paper template accordingly. |

| Deadline of Paper Submission Postponed to July 31th! |

After reporting the APMC2005 at the IEEE MTT-S Adcom meeting, IEEE MTT-S agree to publish a special issue on IEEE Trans. on MTT for APMC2005 (selecting 30-40 high quality papers) and the
APMC2005 will fully following the IEEExplore publishing reqirement.
These days the TPC of APMC2005 is filling some application forms and waiting for the guidence of the submission format and the IEEE ISBN from IEEE. Therefore, the deadline for paper submission is postponed to July 31, and the call for papers with new submission format reqirement will be sent out soon.

| Student paper contest |

| Student paper contest is limited to full time student who must be the first author of the paper, and the student is required to present their paper on the conference. A full time student identification card is required to show on the registration desk. Each of the three final winners will be awarded the APMC2005 Best Student Paper Prize with a certificate, 300USD and a banquet ticket. All the students are encouraged to participate the contest. |
